We are José and Moiken, one from Lisbon and one from Berlin, living together in Zurich since 2009.
We share a passion for outdoors and travelling. We love meeting people, receiving them in our home and sharing good moments over food, drinks and laughter. We have kept our childlike curiosity and don’t stop exploring and discovering. We have a lot of ideas and don’t worry too much about what could go wrong, but focus on what we can gain by the experience. We just get up and do it.
This is how we started our hike along the Jura Crest Trail. We picked one of the national Swiss hiking routes, took our backpacks and went. Some stages were one-day hikes, others we did on two days, sometimes together with friends, other times on our own. We hike on weekends, as our full-time jobs and our travels don’t allow for more.
Now we want to change our busy and kind of settled life for a long hike through Europe.
